The Colin Tyrie Scholarship Program
Each year, the Produced Water Society provides a number of scholarships to graduate students studying the treatment, management, or characteristics of produced water. Each scholarship is worth $5000, and recipients are selected by the Produced Water Society Board of Directors on the merits of their research project. Recipients may also be invited to present their work at the annual Produced Water Society seminar in Houston in February.
Students interested in applying for the Colin Tyrie Scholarship are required to fill out the application form below, which includes upload links for a CV, transcript, a letter of support from a faculty member or their academic adviser, and a research proposal of no more than one page, detailing:
- The issue their research addresses
- What they hope their research will uncover
- How it will further the academic or industry understanding of produced water issues.
