Colin Tyrie Scholarship

Each year, the Produced Water Society Board of Directors awards multiple Colin Tyrie Memorial Scholarships to graduate students conducting research in produced water treatment, management, and characterization. The scholarship honors Colin Tyrie’s legacy of advancing student research, professional development, and knowledge-sharing within the produced water community.

Selected recipients receive financial support to further their academic work and are required to present their research at the Annual Produced Water Society Seminar. Recipients are chosen based on the quality, innovation, and relevance of their research and are selected by the PWS Board of Directors. This opportunity allows students to engage directly with industry professionals while contributing fresh insight to the global produced water community, with presentations hosted at PWS events in Houston, the Permian Basin, or the Middle East.
