We are seeking an experienced Produced Water Process Engineer to design, optimize, and manage treatment systems for produced water generated from oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water treatment technologies, process optimization, and regulatory compliance, with the ability to support both field operations and project development teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating produced water characteristics, selecting appropriate treatment methods, and improving system performance to meet reuse, disposal, or discharge requirements. You will work closely with operations, environmental, and project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective water management solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and optimize produced water treatment processes (e.g., separation, filtration, flotation, membrane systems, chemical treatment).

Analyze water quality data and recommend treatment solutions based on operational and regulatory requirements.

Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of water treatment facilities.

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.

Prepare technical reports, process flow diagrams, and operating procedures.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve water reuse and sustainability initiatives.

Evaluate new technologies and vendors for produced water treatment applications.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in produced water treatment or industrial water processes.

Strong knowledge of oil & gas water management systems and treatment technologies.

Ability to analyze process data and implement performance improvements.
