Lisa Henthorne

Lisa Henthorne has worked in technology leadership roles throughout the water and energy sectors for more than 30 years and has pioneered water treatment applications for management of produced water, brackish water, seawater and industrial and municipal wastewaters. She serves as the Chief Scientist at Aris Water and previously served as the President of the Produced Water Society. She served as CTO of Water Standard and prior to that, Vice President of CH2M HILL (now Jacobs) as their Global Director of Desalination Technology based in Dubai, UAE. In addition, she served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of H2O Innovation, a 1000+ employee global water treatment, service and specialty chemical company until December 2023. She served on the International Desalination Association’s Board of Directors for twenty years and served as President of this global non-profit, industry association. Henthorne earned a M.S. degree in Chemical and Petroleum-Refining Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Missouri State University.
